Stupinigi, the crying statue of Jesus will be analyzed by the Diocese of Turin. The case will be subjected to constant monitoring and analysis according to the procedures established by the Church to ensure the veracity of the facts in question. The crying statue of the Sacred Heart of Stupinigi is now with the Archbishop as requested by the Diocese.

Are the tears of the statue of Jesus in Stupinigi real? Videos of the statue of Jesus tearing have been circulating on social networks, causing much discussion. The first episode (shown in image) occurred on December 8 at around 6.30pm.

It shows a statue of Jesus crying, tears rolling down the cheeks of the statue of Christ four times. This was recently witnessed by a group of faithful who had met nearby the statue at the Angel's Tavern in Turin to pray for a troubled family. Those who had seen him cry assured that the clear tears -- not of blood as often happens -- were real.

So much so that now that statue has been taken away from the place of prayer, on the 143 Provincial Rd, to be analyzed. Escorted by the carabinieri, he arrived at the Archbishopric of Turin, where the statue will be subjected to checks and will be viewed directly by the bishop, Monsignor Roberto Repole. Then, after having ascertained there are no tampering, it will be submitted to the Congregation for the Doctrine of the Faith of the Holy See.
