September 22, 2011 - Reported [here]. The faithful gathered here Wednesday at the St. Padre Pio Shrine ahead of this weekend's annual Padre Pio Festival. Wednesday's event featured prayers, a procession and blessings with relics of Padre Pio. On Saturday, St. Padre Pio Parish, on Dante Avenue in Vineland, will host its annual Padre Pio Festival. A Mass and procession will begin at 11 a.m., followed by blessings with relics of Padre Pio, Mother Pauline and Mother Terese of Calcutta. Father Ermelindo DiCapua and Cardinal Peter Turkson will concelebrate.
