At the reported request of Mary to a privileged lady in Pittsburgh, the statue of Mary and her Child received the title Maternity of Our Lady. It was found crying for the first time on October 30, 1973; it also wept November 2, 1973. This statue of the Maternity of Our Lady still weeps occasionally. At the weeping shown in the photo a tear of the Mother fell upon the Child.
