Above image is a drawing of Rosalie Püt's way of the cross. From Robert Ernst's book.
Rosalie Püt was born in Lummen, Belgium, on August 2, 1868. Her parents were very poor and were able to provide only for one year of school. At the age of nine and a half, on the day of her First Communion, she received the gift of the stigmata. Rosalie asked Jesus for the grace to have these graces hidden and this happened until the age of 17. After she had decided to enter a convent she became gravely ill, so much so that she received the anointing of the sick, and from that point on she never regained her health.
She remained for 25 years in bed, paralyzed in her native home in Reckhoven. Day and night she suffered terribly, but for her, these sufferings were a great grace. She died on February 16, 1919. The mystical phenomena multiplied. Her contacts with the Angels were numerous. Unable to go to Holy Mass, an Archangel would come every night to bring her Holy Communion. The celestial messenger was announced by the sound of small bells, and often two or three souls from Purgatory, for whom Rosalie was praying, would accompany him. These nocturnal communions were seen by more than one witness. At that time, Fr. Duchataeau was the vicar of Lummen, and for 10 years he became the confessor of Rosalie. Under obedience Rosalie had to inform him of the nocturnal visits of the Archangel. The vicar, Fr. Duchateau, told her: “I myself will come this night, to ascertain the truth of that which you say”. That same night an armchair was placed close to the bed of Rosalie. Midnight had scarcely passed when the sound of a bell was heard in the room. The priest rose and saw the Archangel accompanied by three souls from Purgatory. It was a disturbing experience: the vicar confided later that he never had such great fear in his life, and that if the Lord had not helped him, he would have surely died out of fear.

The texts on Rosalie Put are extracted from the fascinating book by Robert Ernst pr. "In the footsteps of AC Emmerich ... Rosalie Put Lummen, a stigmatized the twentieth century"
"Put Rosalie was born in Lummen near Hasselt (Belgium) August 2, 1868. She was the third of nine children. His parents were very poor and, as compulsory education did not exist, the seven year old girl was placed by his mother in a peasant family in a place called Vijverzeel. It was not until early winter Rosalie could go to school in the summer, she kept cows and had more complete a series of strong heavy tasks. At 9 and a half years, the day of his first communion, she received the stigmata. She asked Jesus to be able to take these hidden signs and she managed to conceal this great grace until he was 17. Rosalie had decided to take the veil in a convent in Antwerp. She became seriously ill and received the anointing of the sick. Rosalie did not die but she never found more health. For 25 years it will remain paralyzed and bedridden in his birthplace Reckhoven, parish Lummen. Day and night she suffered, but in his eyes the pain was a great grace.
In November 1918, Rosalie was reached by the Spanish flu was found in the article of death. Yet she recovers before dying Sunday, February 16, 1919. On her deathbed, Rosalie's face shone with a radiant smile. "
Beyond the fact that Rosalie Put and Anne Catherine Emmerich were close (geographically) we find the same mystical characteristics that Anne Catherine Rosalie. Including:
Rosalie was the stigmata of Christ (Friday only)
On the night of Thursday to Friday appear under the skin of the hands, feet and forehead, tiny red dots in the same place. These small spots grow and grow gradually. Then comes a time when the skin bursts of itself and which bleeding begins.
A large bloody cross on her chest sometimes appeared
"Yet it must be added that, at intervals, especially on the eve of a feast of Jesus or His Holy Mother, a large bloody cross appears on the chest of Rosalie, a phenomenon that is accompanied by severe pain. On order her confessor, she frequently had him put a stamp on a machine. Thus he had several copies. "
She ate very little, if only out of humility not to frighten his family, but did not need it.
"About the little food Rosalie was satisfied, the author of'' Full of divine grace," says: "As regards the power we have seen with certainty that Rosalie feeds little people. friends, who frequently stayed four days and nights, and others, which after certain circumstances remained fifteen days with her, have been observed carefully. She takes medication and water if the doctor prescribes. Otherwise, she nibbles occasionally fruit when friends bring people to her, but she still has trouble. Who knows better, is convinced that it is through humility that feeds to hide to friends that she does not restore the land to food. "
She could distinguish the sacred objects.
"Rosalie also has the grace to distinguish other sacred objects and reveal the secret thoughts." The stigma may, during his ecstasy on Friday and this, while keeping your eyes closed, distinguish other sacred objects. And it never go wrong! He puts on such sacred objects such as rosaries, medals, crucifixes in hand, she takes with a smile of satisfaction. She holds these sacred objects with such force that no layman manages to snatch. Only a priest can, to the order expressed or consciously formulated only in thought, she opens her hand like an obedient child, and makes the object "(" Eine Gottbegnadete (Full of divine grace), "Theodor Timming (. A. Mons pseudonym) quoted by Robert Ernst pr. Page 21-26)
On Friday, it's ecstasy Rosalie relived the Passion of Christ. Here is an excerpt dated September 18, 1903:
"This is Rosalie, lying on a miserable bed but clean, as if asleep, the bloody traces of the crown of thorns on her head. Slowly, blood dripping on her forehead, eyes, temples dries slowly. The hands I see the bloody traces of the nails, the blood flows gently [...] Meanwhile, it is 11 hours. Rosalie opened her eyes. She crosses her hands on her chest, looking at the crucifix at the foot of the bed and pray in silence [...] Suddenly Rosalie made a slight movement to the right and fell at full length, as it was lying on the bed The face on the floor. All this without moving the limbs [...] Rosalie remains scope for an hour on the cold stone floor. Then she slowly recovers, and, although completely paralyzed feet, it takes four steps and then falls face against the ground. Then she slowly recovers, and, although completely paralyzed feet, it takes four steps and then falls face against the ground. It remains slumped for a few minutes, straightens staggered, as if carrying a heavy load.
The same scene was repeated three times. The fourth time, it falls on the back, extends his right arm and open hand. The arm trembles and face convulses as in excruciating pain. Second, it extends the left arm and the same scene is repeated painful. Now it's as if the body was elongated, it puts the left foot on the right foot and the members tremble as under the effect of a horrible pain, but not a complaint escaped his lips. Her eyes are still closed. It is a vivid image of our crucified Saviour. Not a sound in the small room! All are deeply moved and pray in silence. Occasionally deep stirrings of pain convulsed her body. It thus remains lying down for an hour. Around 0:50 she began to pray softly, then louder so that we can understand. She prays for the salvation of souls in purgatory, and she offers herself as a sacrifice. Her face lights up with a miraculous beauty. After a few moments she said: "0 my Jesus, untie me now from the cross'' She crosses her hands on her chest Rosalie regains consciousness and goes back to bed..." (Journal of Miss Helena Hoffmann, Rosalie Put Lummen, Robert Ernst pr. Pages 31-32) As shown, the commonalities do not miss!
Is that differentiates the most is that Rosalie did not receive the wonderful visions that Anne Catherine was filled. Rosalie surely saw some things but she spoke little. Obviously she saw the Passion of Christ every Friday, but she's talking about the most is the way of the cross at Ephesus that "plan" was printed on her right arm:
The way of the cross and the tomb of the Virgin Mary
26 & 27 November 1908- "After one hour, I found myself alone with the bed of Rosalie. She suffers from severe pain in his right arm. She shows me the upper arm where the sign was printed in an agonizing price. This footprint and these sufferings to leave more to the death. Then she complained that many afflictions still waiting by her confessor. She tells me that her confessor refuses to reveal the secret despite the sign. Yet his soul aspires to the glorification of the Mother of God and when the secret is revealed, the time of redemption ring. When Rosalie sees that I am saddened by what she said, she affectionately console me and calls me her girlfriend tender the sister that God gave him. So she asks me with insistence to keep her this secret, but in my application it gives me permission to reveal the old Father Wegener. When I asked him anxiously if the tomb of the tender Mother of God is indeed at Ephesus, where our Blessed Catherine Emmerich saw, she looks at the crucifix with a smile and said, "Sister, I can not say "but in his eyes twinkling I read" This is indeed where she is!
